It all started when I needed a plumber and I emailed friends to get their recommendations. They were happy to share their resources, most of whom I would not have found doing a Google search. A few months later I needed a handyman, so I repeated the process.

I realized that I trust recommendations from friends, but I am leery of recommendations from apps. My friends (and their friends) are my trusted sources.

But there had to be a more efficient way to access and share these resources. So I gathered up a lot of recommendations from my network of friends, for all types of services, and created the Recz platform.

Recz is available only to members. Members have exclusive access to the directory and can easily communicate with providers.
